Import your transactions from Mint.com to HelloWallet; or, if you previously exported data from HelloWallet and want to bring it back into the system you can import HelloWallet transactions too.
Start from Accounts page transaction ledger and click Import Transactions.
Note: Before you start, you must have the account that you want to import data into added to HelloWallet.
Begin the import process by selecting your .csv file that you previously exported. It’s important to note not to make any changes to the file or the contents to ensure a smooth import.
Note: We will import any notes you have on your transactions from Mint, but you won't be able to see those notes in HelloWallet until we provide a place to view and edit those notes (which we're planning to do soon).
Once your transactions are imported, select the account to import the transactions into. If you exported multiple accounts you will have the option to select each individual account to import your data into.
We will display the categories that we found in your export data and allow you to map that information to an existing category or create a new one.
We will then confirm the import and let you know how many transactions and accounts we are importing into. In the case there are duplicate transactions HelloWallet will reconcile that information. Duplicates are identified based on the date, account, and the description.
