How do I add my credit card payments to my budget? The Add Budget Item button only allows me to add items from the Regular Expenses and Bills categories, not Transfers.
I realize that the transaction is treated like a transfer in the grand scheme, but in my month-to-month budget it is definitely a spending item that I need to account for. The same goes for my monthly transfers to my savings account.
The reason for that is that transfers aren’t counted against the budget, otherwise any money spent on a credit card would be counted twice (once when you buy it on the card and once when you pay it off). If you’re not using the cards and just want to pay them off, they should be added to the budget as a bill.
