As I work through the calculator in Retirement > Guidance
"Are you saving enough for retirement?" how do we account for contributions to our IRA's. The calculator only accounts for changes to contributions into 401(k).
Looking at my resulting numbers the calculator is accounting for the value already in my IRAs (these are linked and identified as retirement in the HelloWallet Accounts > Investments) there's just no way to indicate that we're still investing new funds through them.
When on the Retirement page, click on the option reading “Are you saving enough for retirement.” Once on the Monthly Take Home Income graph, there is an option that reads “edit” above “Retirement Income Goal.” Then, select the “Retirement Accounts” option on the left hand side, and you should be able to include those accounts in the overall calculation for your projected retirement income. If those accounts are not available, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll be happy to assist you further!
