This Hello wallet shows emergency savings of $66000 required for a 35 years old. Which 35 year old has 66000 liquid cash for emergency. It does not even include my CDs and stock investments.

When looking at the Savings and Debt portion of the Guidance page, this number that you are seeing is generated based on the information you provide in your Profile, including your age and income. This amount is specific to you as the user. It will not include your CDs and Investments, because these will be listed as retirement accounts in HelloWallet.

This suggested amount is listed in the chance that you are faced with a catastrophic emergency, such as a job loss.
