Not only do you have the option to automatically link accounts in HelloWallet, but you can also add manual accounts. This is a good option if your financial institution is not yet supported in HelloWallet. If you have a manual account in HelloWallet, you will need to maintain the account by adding transactions to update the account balance.
To add a manual account, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Accounts tab and select “+ Add Accounts.” In the Add Account window, click “+ Manual Account”
- Select Account Type
- Add a nickname to easily keep track of your manual account
Note: Once you save a manual account you will not be able to change the account type. For example, if you created a checking account instead of a credit card, you will need to delete the account and create a new account selecting the proper type.
